NextGen-CX
NextGen-CX is a landing place for various individuals and projects. It was started by Paul and Donna Cox, and they administer it. It develops the next generation of leaders at Africa Theological Seminary (ATS) and beyond. NextGen-CX focuses on four areas:
• Discipling Discipleship is at the heart of what NextGen-CX does. NextGen-CX, by God’s grace, moves people forward in their walk with the Lord, deepens their commitment to Kingdom service, and helps them love our Lord and others better. At NextGen-CX, discipleship and mentoring are a lifestyle, not a program. Wherever you find NextGen-CX, you will see discipleship.
• Teaching The teaching at NextGen-CX focuses on helping develop leaders to understand and apply the Bible in the cultural context in which they minister. The teaching is primarily done through ATS where Paul and Donna are part of the teaching faculty. NextGen-CX does teach outside of ATS via selective strategic opportunities.
• Researching and Writing NextGen-CX also focuses on research and writing to provide resources for the next generation of leaders to grasp and respond appropriately to the key cultural issues they face. This results in articles, books, and children’s ministry material.
• Supporting NextGen-CX works to support ATS, its staff, students, and alumni. In addition, select other leaders and institutions are supported. This support includes mentoring, helping with advanced degrees, assisting with technology, providing scholarships, and other financial assistance.
